　　US Olympic Committee Chief Executive Jim Scherr spoke to reporters in Athens on Thursday , less than 24 hours after it was announced that sprinter Torri Edwards - who was to compete in both the 100 and 200 metres at the Olympics - had received a two-year ban for testing positive for the banned stimulant nikethamide.
